This means she would make up a English page about Weiden and the Oberpfalz, so some of you (about 24 000 people, yikes!) get to know Weiden and the area around it, including the Grafenwöhr training area for the US troops and their families( my special friends J), besides just looking at pretty pictures. My mom thought, well, since I would be old enough for a job and don’t have anything else to do besides lay around and sleep (yes, Mom!), that I might as well be her assistant and write…. so here I am!

I thought this could be fun and I get to watch those long-legged birds on top of the old city hall every day. Mom tells me they come back every year and lay eggs up there, how crazy is that!

Hopefully I’ll get to go and see them in person one day, maybe find me one of them German Shepards over there…. hubbahubba! A friend told me they don’t like to play around though. I’d like to meet my grandma too some day. She told me though I would have to leave my little buddies the fleas at the front door J

Never mind a few spelling and writing errors, on the account that I haven’t been doing this for too long yet. And don’t you expect me to do a French page either…. I aint no poodle!

But I will try to tell you interesting facts and what’s going on in Weiden (Bavaria’s best kept secret I was told) as often as I can. If there is anything special you want to know more about, just drop a hint in the guest book (Gästebuch) as long as its not about arithmetic or French.
